Masha Belash

Masha Belash is a Ballroom and Latin dance professional, instructor, adjudicator and choreographer, who is very well known and respected in the industry nation wide.

Masha was a resident professional dancer and finalist on Dancing With The Stars Australia, resident choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance Australia, and a lead dancer for Human Nature 2015 - 2017 National Tours. She has performed alongside artists like Ricky Martin, Olivia Newton-John, Josh Groban and Delta Goodrem just to name a few, toured with the international stage sensation Burn The Floor and choreographed for numerous stage shows such as Shake Rattle and Roll and Ultra Swing lounge - selling out at the most prestigious theatres across the country. 

Masha started dancing from age 5, and trained in ballet, jazz and character before transitioning to competitive latin and ballroom dancing. She is an Australian Latin champion and has numerous National, South Pacific and State Championship titles under her belt. She has also represented Australia several times at the World Championships, and in 2005 she came 13th out of approximately 300 couples in the biggest competition in the world - ‘Blackpool Dance Festival’ AKA The British Championships. She has spent much of her career training in England, and has been invited to teach and perform all around Australia, as well as overseas in countries such as Japan, Malaysia, America, Russia and Indonesia.

Masha is an accredited coach and adjudicator, and as a proud founder and co-owner of MOVE, she is passionate about teaching everyone from beginners to the top and most elite dancers in the country, spreading her knowledge and love for dance. Masha has over a decade of experience teaching everyone from small kids to adults of all ages, both in large group classes and private lesson environment. She has produced couples from scratch who have gone on to become Australian Champions themselves, and is very passionate about nurturing her students and seeing them grow in their endeavors. Masha teaches Kids and Adults Latin/Ballroom group classes at the studio together with her partner Aric. She is also available for private lessons, wedding dance lessons, choreography and shows.
