Learn the grooves and moves which are so popular today on music videos worldwide. Originating from the Bronx in New York City in the 1970’s, it is a free, funky and soulful expression of movement used by artists such as Beyonce, Neyo, Flo Rida and Rhianna. Although not necessary, a wide range of styles can be displayed including krumping, tutting, breaking, locking, boogaloo, and popping. No prior experience is required.
A non-partner dance fitness class which involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music incorporating Latin, Pop and World rhythms. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included. In one Zumba class a person can burn between 500-1000 calories.
